Swansea City star Lee Lucas targets revenge for Wales
SWANSEA City midfielder Lee Lucas has urged Wales Under-21s to gain revenge for the embarrassment of San Marino when they meet again in Bangor on Tuesday (2pm).
The Welsh youngsters have endured a difficult European Championship qualification campaign, with a 1-0 defeat in San Marino the lowest point.
But Geraint Williams's team chalked up a morale-boosting 2-0 win over Lithuania last Friday and are now targeting another success.
"We went into this break knowing we had two home games and maximum points are essential as there are still more tough games to come," Lucas said.
"I think we can keep on track, we have watched the videos and things improved against Moldova and Lithuania, so we have some confidence back and take that on into this game."
Wales are second in Group 1, although they have played more games than leaders Finland and third-placed favourites England.
The injury crisis which has hit Chris Coleman's senior squad has had a knock-on effect, with the likes of Lloyd Isgrove, Daniel Alfei and James Wilson on duty in Belgium this week.
