Former Swansea City star Craig Beattie joins League Two strugglers Barnet
SWANSEA City's former record signing Craig Beattie has signed for League Two strugglers Barnet.The ex-Scotland international frontman joined Swansea from West Brom in a deal worth up to £800,000 back in 2009.Beattie scored a handful of important goals for Swansea in the Championship before leaving the club by mutual consent in January 2012.He has since had spells at Hearts and St Johnstone, who he left last month.The 29-year-old has now hooked up with Edgar Davids' Barnet side, who are only outside the League Two drop zone on goal difference.
