Swansea City snatch late draw against Aston Villa
SWANSEA City scrambled a late draw against Aston Villa at the Liberty as Danny Graham struck deep into injury time to rescue a point.
It looked as though Michael Laudrup's side were going to end up pointless despite producing one of their most dominant first half performances of the season.
Swansea took the lead when Wayne Routledge rounded Brad Guzan and netted after nine minutes, but missed a glut of other chances.
Routledge saw a shot saved after a flick over Matthew Lawton put him through on goal early on and Michu twice struck the post in the opening 27 minutes.

Graham and Angel Rangel wasted other opportunities in the first half before Villa equalised.
Andreas Weimann raced onto Christian Benteke's pass and fired past Michel Vorm and into the bottom corner.
Swansea found opportunities harder to come by after the interval, but had calls for a penalty turned down when referee Mark Halsey decided the ball had struck Joe Bennett's hand outside the area.
Villa had their own claims for a penalty six minutes from time when Nathan Dyer tangled with Weimann, and this time Halsey pointed to the spot.
Benteke sent Vorm the wrong way to score and Swansea seemed destined for defeat.
But as the clock ticked down, Graham struck through a crowded penalty area to level.

“hacker, dante, i agree with both your comments , firstly the only time we have not conceeded 2 or more goals while playing dg up front was against qpr and west ham, but we have held man u ,man c, chelsea ,arsenal ,spurs , liverpool, west brom ,to one goal or less playing 3in midfield, which in my opinion proves we are better with 3 in midfield, and yes i think playing with one winger is an option we should try”

“It's a tradeoff isn't it. To get the best out of Michu you need to play him behind a striker.
Personally I'd start with him there in every game and if we need another body in midfield then sacrifice one of the wingers (giving the remaining wing the freedom to move to either side as appropriate.”
