Swansea City's Chico Flores likely to miss Capital One Cup final
CHICO Flores is almost certain to miss the Capital One Cup final against Bradford City at Wembley.
The Swansea City defender was stretchered off after 34 minutes in the 4-1 win over QPR at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday with an ankle injury.
A scan has confirmed that the Spaniard has ruptured ligaments in his right ankle.
"It's difficult to assess how long he will be out because we need the swelling to go down first," said Swansea's head physio Kate Rees. "But he is very unlikely to make the cup final.''

“'Forever white' To the tune of Myfanwy
We are the Jacks of Swansea City
We knock the ball all round the ground
We once beat poor old Leeds United
Gave Arsenal the run-around
The East Stand roars
When Michu scores
The Swans banged two at Stamford Bridge
Forever white
We're dynamite
Europa League we're on our way”

“Go for a daily paddle down the bay Chico boyo, you'll be back to normal in no time I reckon. it did wonders when I twisted my ankle some years back now, mind you it was the summer. Very nice to hobble through the surf from the slip to the uni and back, skin like leather after a week. Anyway I hope you make it to the finals as you deserve to be there, even sitting on the bench would get you a medal, win or lose yea. All the very best to you and our Team, Coach, Manager, board.”

“Saw his ankle on twitter, was very swollen, not looking good for Wembley hoping for a miracle I think.”
