MICHAEL Laudrup reckons his Swansea City side are on course for Queens Park Rangers after their handsome friendly win over Blackpool last night.

Danny Graham fired a hat-trick and Michu netted a debut goal as Laudrup’s Liberty bow ended in an encouraging win.

“To win and score four goals in our first game here at our stadium is very nice for us,” said the new Swansea manager. “But more important for me is that we saw during the game some of the things that I want.

“We did some very, very good things in parts of the game. Of course we still have to get better, but we defended pretty well and we scored four goals from seven or eight good chances that we created.”

Swansea have been linked with Newcastle United winger Gabriel Obertan, although Laudrup played down talk of a move for the French Under-21 international last night.

The Dane wants two new forward players and there are also suggestions that Valencia’s Pablo Hernandez is on the radar.

Swansea, meantime, have dismissed fresh reports that Scott Sinclair is on his way to Manchester City. And Liverpool target Joe Allen was in the crowd for last night’s 4-2 friendly win over Blackpool.
