Swansea City fans warned of the dangers of flammable novelty wigs
SWANS fans heading to Wembley are being warned of the dangers of flammable mochican wigs.
Trading Standards Officers have found that some black and white which are being sold in the city are high flammable and could cause serious injury if worn near a naked flame.

David Picken, Swansea Council’s Trading Standards Officer, said: “We want everyone travelling to London on Sunday to have a great time and proudly wear the colours of the Swans.
“Fans have the opportunity to buy lots of different novelty items such as wigs and scarves. Some wigs we have tested fall well below current safety standards.

Officers will be patrolling both the railway station and bus station on the morning of the game and will be looking out for potentially dangerous gifts on sale to fans.

“I had my hair set alight by some joker also had a newspaper I was reading set alight, that's not such a problem as I just carefully folded it up with the flames inside to kill them.”

“Pathetic story.
If they have tested stuff that does fall well below safety standards why not list names of people arrested?
Typical half swep story - these are getting very boring now.
Anyway on a positive point - Come on The Swans.”

“who in their right mind would put a light cigarette onto their normal head let alone onto a wig?
do people really need to be told this is not a good idea?
