Swansea City eye Wembley after 2-0 win at Chelsea
SWANSEA City have Wembley in their sights after securing a shock 2-0 win at Chelsea in the first leg of the Capital One Cup semi-final.
Michu's strike six minutes before the interval handed Michael Laudrup's side a precious away goal ahead of the return match at the Liberty in two weeks' time.
And they doubled their lead in injury-time when substitute Danny Graham pounced on a mistake by Branislav Ivanovic to score.
The first goal also came from an error by Ivanovic.

Swansea's top scorer netted for the 16th time this season when Jonathan de Guzman pounced on a on the Serbian's short back pass.
Michu received the ball 20 yards out and carefully slotted it between two defenders and inside Ross Turnbull's near post.
Before that, Swansea had to soak up waves of Chelsea pressure.
Juan Mata and Ramires both missed chances, while Gerhard Tremmel produced a full length save to deny Ivanovic.
Swansea also had their backs to the wall in the second half, though the hosts found clear-cut opportunities harder to come by.
Frank Lampard and Demba Ba were thrown on as Chelsea's chase for an equaliser became more desperate.
Then, just as Swansea were about to celebrate a hard-fought win, their night got even better.
Graham had only been on the field nine minutes when he was presented with a gift-wrapped chance to put Swansea firmly in charge ahead of the second leg.

“Couple of points to ponder on last nights game. We know that split decisions can go either way but what if the goal of Demba Ba had been judged onside. What if Demba Ba had been awarded a penalty instead of a booking when he fell in the box. We have all seen these incidents go either way. Refs and that includes linesmen are only human. Is it now payback time for Chelsea after the false accusations of Racism made against referee Mark Clattenburg.”

“Whenver we play a single striker up front we are a different team.
The extra man in midfield or defense allows us to be stronger and having the top finishers in the league means we can rely on michu to put them away.
Danny then comes with added pace and a on a recent goal rampage.
So lets stick to what we did, but take note, Dem Ba WILL MAKE A REAL DIFFERENCE and we cannot rely on their defender to make the same errors again.
Gonna be a scary game, hope we can hold on can if we do, I honestly belive we can win at wembley be it Villa or Bradford.”

“Interesting to note what mahatmacoat says about Stanley Matthews. Here we are, nearly 50 years on, and there still seems to exist a sort of "Big Players/Clubs Protection Charter". A good example from last night's game was when Oscar delivered TWO fore-arm smashes to Hernandez. Although Hernandez got rightly yellow-carded for hacking down Oscar immediately afterwards, I would have thought 2 counts of GBH merited some form of action. Using your body to shield the ball has always been part of the game; hunting out a fellow professional nowhere near the ball and physically attacking him never has been - oh, unless you're Graham Souness of course.
The top teams get away with so much on a weekly basis. S'funny how so many of these players are soooooo strong in the tackle when trying to win the ball; but collapse like sacks of potatoes if anyone even gets within shouting distance of them when they have the ball. Some people will do anything for money. Even trying to manufacture penalties, and free-kicks in dangerous positions for dead-ball experts. That particular Chelsea plan failed last night. Let's hope it fails again on the 23rd.”

“Being a coffin dodger i can honestly say i was at the last semi final at Villa park in 64.We beat the thent league champions Liverpool at Anfield after disposing of Barrow. Sheff Utd & Stoke who included Stanley Mathews. The ref put a preservation order on Mathews who was 50 at the time and you could get booked for wishing him good morning. Of that team i think only Noel Dwyer in goal and Herbie Williams in midfield would get in this side. Thank you ML for all you have done since you came here. Lets hope it's a long stay and not one that finishes with us all dressing up as Elvis and then being deserted”

“Working in London and managaged to get to the game. This was an immense result and 38,000 Chelsea fans are gutted and it was like a fire drill after DG scored. London Underground was packed with miserable faces, apart from the travelling jacks on the way to Paddington. Great support from the jack army inside the ground. Tremmel was superb. What a steady brilliant keeper he is. And among many superb performances tonight Ki and Chico were marvellous. And Leon did not put a foot wrong, controlled the match, his best game for many years and that is saying something. Thankyou ML, you are making history after just a few months in charge. Congratulations to all the team and support staff. Now we have to finish the job !!!!!”
