Swansea City boss Michael Laudrup: Capital One Cup win will be remembered for years
SWANSEA City's historic cup final win will be remembered for many, many years, according to boss Michael Laudrup.
After more than 20,000 fans turned out for the homecoming parade to welcome the team back, the players were treated to a civic reception at the Brangwyn Hall, hosted by Swansea Council.
And speaking at the event, Laudrup said the final was like a fairytale.
"It was one of the days which will be remembered for many, many years," the former Barcelona and Real Madrid star said.

"It is the first major trophy in the history of the club and in this year, the centenary year, it is like a small fairytale.
"This year's competition has been a fairytale with a part from us and a bigger part from Bradford City. It is a win which will be remembered for many years.
"In Barcelona there were a million people on the streets when we won the European Cup (in 1992), but this is special, it is a small city with one team."
Midfield maestro Leon Britton added: "The last 48 hours have been absolutely brilliant.
"From celebrating on the pitch at Wembley to coming back for the bus parade, this is just as good as two years ago, when you win trophies.
"For the lads who have been here for a long time, it does make it that extra bit special.
"I have got to thank the fans, we could have sold 50,000 for Wembley and thousands have turned out in the cold today.
"They are so loyal and hopefully they have enjoyed themselves."
Council leader David Phillips added: "This was yet another historic day for the whole city.
"Once again the Swans have done us proud."
