Swansea City beaten 1-0 by Tottenham
SWANSEA City crashed to their second successive Premier League defeat as they were beaten 1-0 by Spurs at White Hart Lane.
After a bright opening from Michael Laudrup's side, the hosts were soon in command and it took some desperate defending to keep the game goalless at half-time.
Jermain Defoe and Clint Dempsey both went close for Tottenham, while Kyle Walker's long range thunderbolt cannoned off Gerhard Tremmel's shoulder before being cleared to safety.
Swansea also had the odd opportunity.
