MICHAEL Laudrup is expected to push Michu back into attack tonight amid continuing concerns over the health of Danny Graham.

Laudrup is tipped to recall Ki Sung-Yueng in central midfield as Swansea City take on West Bromwich Albion at the Liberty, with Itay Shechter likely to drop out of the side which started against Liverpool on Sunday.

But once again Graham, last season's 14-goal top-scorer, will play no part because of a mystery illness which has kept him out since the win at Newcastle 11 days ago.

"Danny is a concern of course," said Laudrup.

"It is one thing being out for two or three days because of flu, but it's still there now and you get a little worried for Danny as a person.

"We are talking health here. Football is one thing, but it's much more important that he gets back well again.

"He hasn't done any training since Newcastle — he has been feeling dizzy and sick.

"He has gone to hospital for tests. We hope they will tell him not to worry and that he can start training again in a couple of days."

Laudrup has other fitness worries ahead of the West Brom clash, with Jonathan de Guzman among them.

The midfielder came off late on in Sunday's goalless draw with Liverpool because of a hamstring problem, but Swansea are optimistic he will be okay.

"We have a couple of players who could be doubtful," Laudrup admitted, "but I won't say who because I don't want to give too much away to my colleague at West Brom.

"We will have to see with Jonathan. We have only three days between games so we have to see how the players are."

Laudrup indicated before the Liverpool game that he would make changes this week with Swansea facing three Premier League outings in six days.

But there will be no mass reshuffle this evening, with Ki for Shechter — who struggled to make an impact against the Reds — potentially the only change.

Laudrup will then reassess things before Saturday's visit to Arsenal.

"The most important game for us is West Brom because it's at home and it's a game we want to win," he added.

"We will put out what we feel is our best team for this game."

Swansea are looking to continue their rousing run of form tonight having lost only once in their last eight matches.

But the Baggies arrive in even better shape, having won their last four league games to climb to third in the table.

"West Brom will be feeling like they can beat everybody right now," said Laudrup, "so of course it will be a difficult game for us."

Albion boss Steve Clarke has injury concerns of his own following their weekend triumph at Sunderland, with Jonas Olsson (calf) and Youssouf Mulumbu (hamstring) both facing late fitness tests.

Braga striker Eder, a Portuguese international, and Celta Vigo forward Iago Aspas are the latest names being linked with Swansea ahead of the January transfer window.

But Laudrup has dismissed reports suggesting Wolves defender Christophe Berra is on his radar.

“Brilliant stuff, we looked like a team in a different league for the most part especially the first 30 mins. Too bad we conceeded ten seconds before HT, but things were going so good for us I just knew it was coming, but the best first 30 minutes I think I seen from swansea.

Really good stuff, regardless of the win, we looked damn good tonight.

    Well done all!”

“I think this is where michu is most effective, we just need to remember he does not have the pace of a striker, but with dyer hernandez routledge ki as options either side hopefully this is not that big of a problem for him.”
