Swansea City: Deals agreed for Pablo Hernandez and Scott Sinclair
SWANSEA City have agreed a fee with Valencia for winger Pablo Hernandez, while Scott Sinclair is set to complete his move to Manchester City.
The Swans have had bid of around £5.5 million accepted for Spain international Hernandez, with personal terms expected to be concluded today.
Michael Laudrup’s side have also agreed to sell 23-year-old winger Sinclair to City for an initial £6.2 million, which could rise depending on performance-related add-ons.
Swansea midfielder Andrea Orlandi looks like he is on his way to Brighton, while left-back Fede Bessone is set for a move to Swindon.

“Mab, scott wanted to go, we got 6.2 million plus addons for a player we payed much less for.
And we replaced him with someone who has played for spain, you know, the best team in the entire universe. Do you realise how talented you need to be in spain to get anywhere near those circles. its not even funny.
If you think we are going to regret that I will have whatever you are smoking!
I will miss scotty for his history here and im not gonna rubbish him as i like him, but the reality is I think pablo hernandez is more than capable of filling his boots and probably most other wingers outside of those on silly money.”

“Maybe that is the difference between us and HJ, he never accepts just enough due to other transfers being good. A sign a remarkably formidable businessman. He held out against Valencia as well and won. Two amazing agreements on the same day, after consistently great dealings for a couple of years.
HJ is an icon, the man should have his statue outside the stadium for what he has done for the club.”

“I dont think anyone said HJ has no business acumen if someone did then they are an idiot, some inc. myself were just concerned that we dont need to play russian roulette over scotty for a few hundred k hours before the dealline when 6.2 is a good price and we have done so well with joe allen and what I consider bargain signings in michu and flores.”

“Hey guys, you heard? Danish TV giant Viasat have dumped all Man City, Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool games to show every single Swansea City FC game.

“There has been much talk on here of late saying HJ has no business acumen by not accepying 6.2 for sinclair when he has expressed a desire to leave. HJ has proved that despite a past reputation as a selling club- we now only sell players on OUR terms. As a rusult we have now secured an extra 1.8 million for Sinclair in add ons. Its a shame that we have to shop abroad for players but the over inflated price of British talent leaves us no choice. I will say that the new players are already showing passion for the shirt and are not here to just be picking up a nice wage !”

“There has been much talk on here about HJ showing no business acumen by not accepting the 6.2 million tabled by ManC for Scotty who had expressed his desire to leave. HJ has proved that despite our past reputation as a 'selling club', we are now a club that doesnt need to sell- and if we do then we sell on OUR terms. By sticking to our guns we have secured a further 1.8 million from the sale in terms of add ons. Its a shame that the inflated price of British players mean we shop abroad, but the players we have brought in are already playing with passion and desire rather than just turning up for a nice wage.”

“Awesome news, heard it on the radio. Shame to lose scotty, but to get someone involved in the spanish national team or anywhere near those circles tells me it was good swap and does wonders for the clubs credibility which is rising by the week.
Now we just need to get the team to gel fully and I think we will be in business.
Scary how quickly the club is growing, deals with Korean Internationals, deals with spanish internationals, selling layers to liverpool for 15 mill, selling Olympians to man city!
Were in the big time now, just keep polishing what we have, I think the key ingredient in all this Huw Jenkins.”
