JONATHAN de Guzman reckons Arsenal's passing style will boost Swansea City's chances of landing another win over the Gunners this weekend.

Already through to the last four of the League Cup, Swansea kick off their FA Cup campaign against Arsenal at the Liberty on Sunday.

Michael Laudrup's men upset Arsenal on their own patch only a month ago, with Michu scoring two late goals in a famous 2-0 win.

Now Swansea go in search of a repeat performance against the ten-time FA Cup winners.

"We can take confidence from having beaten them recently," said Swansea midfielder de Guzman.

"We seem to play better against teams who like to play football because that leaves spaces for us to play our game.

"And with us having home advantage as well, hopefully we can progress."

Swansea face Chelsea in the Capital One Cup semi-final first leg at Stamford Bridge next Wednesday.

Having just come through a hectic festive period, Laudrup's men face another heavy schedule throughout January which would only get busier should they overcome Arsenal.

But de Guzman insists there is a feeling of anticipation in the Swansea camp as they prepare for another knockout competition.

"It's very exciting for me to be involved in the FA Cup for the first time and it could not have been against many bigger teams than Arsenal," he added.

"It's a famous competition and everyone is excited."
