Swans on Sky for three games in row
SWANSEA City will be live on Sky for three consecutive games in April after two additional fixtures were chosen for television coverage.
The home Premier League clash with Newcastle United has been brought forward from Saturday, April 7 to Good Friday, April 6, with the game kicking off at 4.30pm.
The game at QPR also has a new date, the trip to Loftus Road being pushed back from Easter Monday to Wednesday, April 11 with an 8pm kick-off. It means Swansea will be televised live for three games in a row, with Sky already having chosen the trip to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, April 1 (4pm) as part of their coverage.
The two new dates take the Swans' amount of broadcast games this season up to nine, with home games Manchester United, Aston Villa, Arsenal and Chelsea, as well as the opening-day trip to Manchester City among those already shown live.
Swansea have had mixed fortunes in front of the cameras this term. Although they were beaten 4-0 by Manchester City, the highlight of their season was the 3-2 win over Arsenal.
Meanwhile, supporters' club buses for Sunday's game at Stoke will leave the Liberty at 8.30am.

“It's a shame the same payments don't apply to games shown in Holland. Swansea is always shown there because of Vorm lol... good times.”

“They have to show us 10 times, it's the contract, just getting us out of the way so they can show the real top or relegation matches in the last 4 weeks.
That suits me fine by the way, it means they expect us to not get dragged into the fight at the bottom.”

“Hear in sunny cyprus ,we get to see all games , i have only missed 3 Swans games this season, i think sky sell off to other companies the games that are not on sky sports,so if your lucky enough to have a 4 mtr dish ,which most bars have here , you can tune into what ever you want,”

“Unless you have more than 10 games televised in a season you get the same reward as if you had no games televised, as each team gets a guaranteed 4.85m for up to 10 games, and 485k for every game afterwards.”

“I think people want to watch football played the right way and there are not many teams in the English game that can do that, I think sky have worked this out and when the big clubs are not up to much they will turn to Swansea, because Swansea always give the supporters high tempo games.
and because we attack from back to front there are always going to be something happening, bad back pass, Williams with one of is long balls out wide, Sigurdsson,s through balls, it's just so much going on the the boys have got the ball at they feet and at is just to name a few. Maybe sky would like to buy some share,s in our club oops sorry i was dreaming then. Come on the Swans”

“This news will certainly help the bank balance. I hope that Sky has not given Swansea a BOGOF offer simply because we are the new boys in the league. Let's hope that it's because the world wide audience loves to watch our lads play the wonderful game.Up the Swans”
