Black Cats boss Martin O'Neill wants to add another striker to his squad during the transfer window, and is known to be keen on Graham.
The striker, Swansea's record signing when he joined from Watford for £3.5 million in 2011, has been in fine form in the last few weeks and has scored four goals, including the second in the superb Capital One Cup semi-final victory at Chelsea.

“so why are we apparently so keen to sign him?

We aren't. Laudrup dismissed talk of a bid as rumours only, the EP conveniently didn't report on that.”

“I agree with Carpmeister: Kenwyne Jones is certainly no better than Danny Graham and why we seem to be pursuing Jones remains a mystery. He has only just returned to the Stoke line-up - so why are we apparently so keen to sign him? It's a no-no as far as I and thousands of other Swans supporters are concerned.”

“I'll be sorry if Danny does leave but if he does go Swans would have to replace him with somebody better and I doubt that Kenwyne Jones is better. If Jones is the only option I'd rather see Danny get a good run in matches at least to the end of the season.”
