Students toast success
YSGOL Tre-Gib was toasting a pleasing set of results, with many A-level students receiving high grades.
The top performing students were Beatrice Adam-Day who achieved two A*s, one A and one A at AS Level, Rebecca Davies with two A*s, one A and one B, Lowri Owen with two A*s and one A and Elinor Dyer with one A*, one A and one B.
AS-level students did particularly well with Rhiannon Murphy getting four As and one B, Jessica Davies getting four As, Celyn Richards three As and one C, and Georgia Bevan, Isobel Williams and Ian Richards getting three As each.
Ysgol Dyffryn Aman has been celebrating the achievement of its A-level and AS students as many of them received high grades.
In total 13 A-level students received at least two As, including May Broadhurst who got two A*s and one A and Charlotte Russell, who achieved one A* and three As.
Head teacher, D Stephen Perks, said: "We are proud of all our A and AS level candidates, most of whom fulfilled their potential and were rewarded with the necessary grades in order to advance to higher education."
He added: "The school's consistent success over recent years is a tribute to the hard work of our students, the support of parents and of course, to the dedication of our excellent staff at Ysgol Dyffryn Aman."
