STUDENTS at Gower College Swansea have been wearing something blue, to show their support for a project which aims to end child slavery in Haiti.

The event was held ahead of a visit by author and former Haitian child slave, Jean-Robert Cadet, who began the annual fund-raising campaign for the Restavek Organisation.

The group aims to free restaveks — or child servants — and provide access to education.

Jean-Robert will visit the college on October 18 to hold talks in English and French with staff and students.
