Stuart Lancaster: England need to improve to see off Wales
ENGLAND head coach Stuart Lancaster admitted his side need to improve if they are to beat Wales in their Six Nations showdown on Saturday.
England stayed on course for the Grand Slam by beating Italy, but they were far from impressive as they laboured to an 18-11 success.
Lancaster said: "At half-time we still felt in control of the game, but I felt we let that control slip and Italy pushed us right to the end.
"We have to improve on that performance and it will be a massive step for us.

"We got the win but it's a quiet changing room. It's set up for a fantastic occasion (against Wales)."
A Welsh win could give them the title, but Italy full-back Andrea Masi believes England will edge it.
"It's going to be a tough game but I think England are a bit more dangerous than Wales," he said.
