Twelve Knights representative Steve Jones said that the competition could not have run without the support of Brains brewery or the management of the hotel.

Seven juniors entered in addition to the main table, though they didn't have catches to weigh in.

Their entry cards were raffled for the prizes donated by Brian Davies of Country Stores.

The winner was Lewis Thomas, picking up a rod and reel combo, with Shauna Machon second, winning a spinning combo. Third was Finn Stevens, winning a boat rod combo.
