FARM shops and butchers are in the running for a national award.

Cwmcerrig Farm Shop and Grill in Llanelli, Dewi Roberts Butcher in Ffairfach, Llandeilo, and Martin Jones Family Butcher in Ammanford are listed among the finalists for this year's Countryside Alliance Awards.

The Welsh winners will be announced in January and will go through to the UK finals, which will be announced at the Houses of Parliament in March.
