GUIDED tours of Carmarthen will begin again on Wednesday, May 19.

The walks, which take in Carmarthen's medieval past, have proved popular since they were resurrected in 2008.

The tour includes the old castle walls, Bridge Street, Quay Street, the Guildhall, Nott Square and Lammas Street.

Another route takes in King Street and St Peter's Church.

The walks are led by a team of volunteers and are organised by Carmarthen Town Council.

They will run until late October and will be held every Wednesday at 11.30am.

Those attending are asked to meet at the castle wall gateway in Nott Square. Walks are free.
