Statement allegation
A LIVERPOOL man will appear in court tomorrow charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice.
It is alleged that between July 31 and August 8 at HMP Swansea, Kyle Ashton, 20, along with another person, Carol Byrne, told a witness, Michelle Royle, what to put in a statement he was completing for the police.
Ashton, of Studland Road, Liverpool, will appear at Swansea Magistrates' Court by videolink.
