GWENDRAETH Valley residents are being urged to have a clear out and take advantage of a waste and tyre amnesty being held in Cross Hands today.

Officers from Carmarthenshire Council's waste and recycling section have teamed up with Tidy Towns to reduce fly-tipping and encourage recycling.

The amnesty is being held in the car park of the Leekes store from 8am to 2pm.
