Stars out for Swansea bonfire night with X factor
SWANSEA'S official bonfire party will have plenty of talent and a touch of the X Factor this year.
Television favourites Lucy Spraggan and Port Talbot dance groups Pre-Skool and Nu Sxool have been lined-up to perform at the November 5 St Helen's party.
The talent show stars will be supported by circus acts, stilt walkers, fire shows, air cadets and Swansea group No Obligation — and of course the all-important fireworks.
Swansea Council's cabinet member for regeneration, Nick Bradley, said there would be a fantastic atmosphere at the event.
He said: "It just wouldn't be November in Swansea without the annual fireworks display at St Helen's.
"Reality TV programmes like The X Factor and Britain's Got Talent are massively popular nowadays, so it's terrific news that we've been able to attract acts that have made recent finals in these hit shows.
"The live music and dancing will add to what would already have been a fantastic atmosphere thanks to the combination of fireworks and other entertainment that's been arranged."
The X Factor and Britain's Got Talent stars are following in the footsteps of previous St Helen's bonfire acts including Only Men Aloud, Busted's Charlie Simpson, Shayne Ward and Lock Down Dance Academy.
The gates open at the St Helen's rugby and cricket ground at 5.30pm, with the live entertainment from 6pm, followed by the fireworks.
