Stamps to commemorate 50th anniversary of Doctor Who
THE 50th anniversary of TV favourite Doctor Who will be marked by a special set of stamps.
The Royal Mail said 11 stamps would be issued on March 26, featuring all the actors who have played the role of the Time Lord, from William Hartnell to Matt Smith.
David Tennant, Christopher Eccleston, Paul McGann, Sylvester McCoy, Colin Baker, Peter Davison, Tom Baker, Jon Pertwee and Patrick Troughton will also be featured on the stamps, which will all be First Class.
Doctor Who was brought back to TV screens in 2005 following a long absence, thanks to Swansea writer Russell T Davies.
