NEIGHBOURHOOD police in Gowerton have received complaints of high speed cyclists on a local path.

Residents turned up at a recent PACT meeting to tell officers and community leaders of their concerns over inconsiderate cyclists along the town's cycle track.

Police community support officer for Gowerton, Tom O'Neale, said: "Concerns have been raised with regards to a small number of cyclists riding along the cycle track at high speeds.

"Certain cyclists are not using a bell to warn other users of their presence and there is a worry that an accident may occur."
