DC Andrew O’Flanagan chased two men after he saw them threaten a shop assistant in Swansea with knives and demand cash.

The off-duty officer struggled with one of the men after he tripped and fell, dislocating his own finger in the process, and kept the man under control until police officers arrived at the scene.
