Snake on the loose captured outside Asda in Llanelli town centre
A snake has been caught in the bushes outside Asda in Llanelli after being found by shoppers earlier this afternoon.
Security at the St Elli Shopping Centre contacted town snake expert Geraint Hopkins to rescue the creature after it was discovered at around 4pm.

Centre security guard Colin Giess said he picked up the animal - believed to be a corn snake - after it was seen by a member of the public.
The 45-year-old said: "It was very tame. It was by the bushes by the white building in the car park.

"I think it was about a year old, two feet long and brown."
He said it was not known how the snake came to be in the supermarket car park.
Corn snakes are popular pets due to their docile nature and reluctance to bite.
