Singing star and wife in break-up rumours
POPULAR Welsh baritone Bryn Terfel is reported to have split with his childhood sweetheart and wife of 26 years Lesley.
National newspaper reports have claimed that Lesley is now dating an unemployed 27-year-old, Ian Pleming, and that the Terfels have lived apart since before Christmas.
Bryn's manager Doreen O'Neill said: "Bryn is a very private man. I've known him and represented him for 26 years and I think he is an outstanding person.
"All around his profession you will hear the same thing."

The Terfels have three sons, Tomos, 17, Morgan, 13, and Deio Sion, 11, with whom, says Doreen, Bryn has 'kept in close touch' with, adding: "Of course he will continue to provide for them and for Lesley."
Bryn is starring in Verdi's Falstaff at Milan's Teatro Alla Scala at the moment and he is not expected to return to Britain until mid-May because of planned appearances in Monte Carlo, Abu Dhabi, Oman, Australia, New Zealand and Salt Lake City.
