Sinclair plays waiting game
SCOTT Sinclair admits he must stay patient in his bid to make a mark at Manchester City.
The former Swansea City star got a rare chance to impress for Roberto Mancini's men as they were beaten in Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday.
Sinclair has made just three City starts since his £6.2 million switch to the Etihad in August.
But he said: "There has always got to be patience. Playing in a great side, there has got to be patience for me.
"I'm taking every training session step by step and hopefully, when I do get the chances to play, I've got to go out there and show what I can do.
"I knew when I came to City that there would be a patient waiting game for me."
The Dortmund appearance was a first in Europe for Sinclair since he left for City.
"It was great that I started the game and to get my experience in the Champions League, but obviously I'm disappointed that we lost the game," he added.
"Now we must move on and hopefully make sure we do better in the Premier League."
