SIAN Lloyd has said she'd love to see Stephen Fry take over as Doctor Who.

The Neath weathergirl told all exclusively to the Evening Post, saying she'd love to see the QI presenter as David Tennant's successor.

She said: "Stephen Fry would make a great Doctor — he's so quirky and eclectic. I could imagine him in a long knitted scarf playing the part.

"And he's a word merchant. I adore him and his way with words.

"But if Stephen couldn't, I'd love to see Matthew Rhys do it. He'd be lovely."

And it seems Sian would love a guest spot on the show.

She told the Post: "I'd love to be on the show. I could do the weather forecast for whatever planet for the alien species. You could talk about the meteorite showers and stuff like that."

“What if we had Anne Robison as Dr Who She could use her catch phrase "You are the weakest alian Goodbye" and the alian would disappear in a puff of smoke.”
