THE first Wales Tourism Week will be held next week to give those involved in the sector the chance to shout about their success.

The week kicks off on Monday, February 27, with a networking session at the Penderyn Distillery.

Later that day Tourism Swansea Bay will be taking travel and tourism

students from Swansea Metropolitan University on a trip around attractions in Swansea and Gower.

Wales Tourism Alliance (WTA) chairman Chris Osborne said: "As this is the first time Wales has held its own Tourism Week, it's vital for everyone across the sector to get together with fellow tourism businesses and local tourism associations to showcase what makes the tourism product near them great."
