Sherlock, Doctor Who and Merlin lead the way for Welsh productions at National Television Awards
THREE TV series from Wales are in the running for National Television Awards.
Doctor Who, Sherlock and Merlin — all made by BBC Wales in Cardiff — are up against Downtown Abbey in the best drama category.

Time Lord Matt Smith and Benedict Cumberbatch, who plays super-sleuth Sherlock, are in the running for best actor.
Ant and Dec, who have won the best entertainment presenter award for the past 11 years, are shortlisted once again, while their show — I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here — is nominated for the entertainment programme award.
