Share views on fuel tax
MAY I suggest that everyone cuts back on car use, shares where possible and writes to their MP complaining about the vast amount of tax on fuel. We need to show our anger to this Government and force it to reduce fuel costs.

“Latest news.
UK borrowing £64bn more than forecast, says IFS report
UK borrowing is likely to be £64bn higher in 2014-15 than forecast, according to a closely watched report.
The Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS) says that a weaker-than-expected economy will mean the government has to borrow a lot more, unless it imposes tax rises and further spending cuts.
And the likes of Howard Williams wants to cut taxes, as i said cloud cuckoo land”

“Personally i would only be in favor of cutting fuel tax if it were matched with a corresponding cut in defense spending. To me that would be a win win situation. Sadly i don't think that will happen. Mind you Cameron has hacked away at the defense budget up until now, fair play to the man.
As For Mr Williams he's living in cloud cuckoo land, another one of the deluded dreamers who thinks that money just grows on trees. I wonder if he is one of these new Labour types who thinks we can simply just go on borrowing as if there is no tomorrow. With an aging population(many who have not provided for their old age), we are going to find ways of raising more tax not less.”

“Neathboy CLM, I doubt he will 'wright' another letter but he might write another if you ask nicely. After all he is 'more cleverer' than you!”

“Mr Williams wants a cut in fuel tax does he, what he doesn't say is where the lost tax will be found. Or perhaps he thinks that we can just go on borrowing the difference. Maybe he wants to see more cuts taking place, with the resulting lower GDP that goes along with it.
I think very little thought has gone into this letter, perhaps he will wright us another one answering the questions that i have mentioned.”
