Service for families to remember lost babies
A SERVICE for families grieving for a lost baby takes place at Singleton Hospital chapel on December 2.
It has been organised by Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board and takes place at 3pm.
Reverend Phillip Gwynn, Church in Wales hospital chaplain, said: "The service will be a time to step away from the Christmas preparation — and reflect, be still and share with other parents who also carry that same pain.
"The staff that delivered those babies, the faces who cared for those very sick premature little ones will be there to help you. The service will last no more than 30 minutes and there will be an opportunity to light a candle, to leave a personal thought. Support services will be available, delivered with a hug, a warm cup of tea and a mince pie."
