Service change to benefit youngsters
CHILDREN in separated families will benefit from changes to child contact services in Wales, the Welsh Government's Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Service has said.
The National Association of Child Contact Centres has been hired by CAFCASS Cymru as the network manager for Wales.
Deputy Minister for Children and Social Services, Gwenda Thomas AM, recently announced changes to the funding of child contact services in Wales.
The changes will mean funding is spread more evenly, and provision will better reflect the level of need for services.

CAFCASS Cymru has commissioned NACC to oversee this work, to manage the network and ensure consistent and quality services across Wales.
Deputy Minister Gwenda Thomas AM said: "Child contact services play a vital role for some children in separated families.
"The appointment of NACCC to manage the network will lead to consistency in the delivery of this important work across Wales."
