THE search is still on for a missing Lottery winner in Neath Port Talbot.

One unknown winner who bought their ticket in the county is sitting on a fortune as their £1 million EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle prize from the bumper Christmas Day draw remains unclaimed.

The National Lottery is now hoping that mums will help them, as Mother's Day approaches, to track down the winner.

The Lottery UK survey of more than 1,000 people showed 10 per cent of us turn to mum when we have lost something. The South Wales figure was much higher, at nearly 30 per cent.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: "Almost half of the Welsh people (46 per cent) who gave us feedback said their mums would sometimes miraculously find something that they themselves have failed to locate.

"Those miraculous powers could help find that life-changing £1 million fortune."

The winning selection on Christmas Day was DXD401009. The prize must be claimed by June 23 before the ticket expires.
