Scientist gives glaciology talk
GLACIOLOGY and climate change is the subject of a talk today at Swansea Museum.
Alongside an exhibition commemorating the centenary of Captain Scott's ill-fated expedition to the South Pole, the museum is running a series of talks.
As part of that series Dr Nicholas Barrand from the British Antarctic Survey will be giving a lecture followed by a question and answer session on glaciology and climate change from 1pm.
Dr Barrand studied at Swansea University and used to regularly make research visits to the university.
