Schools FA closing in on a century
THE Swansea Schools FA is on the verge of its 99th season of schools football.
The association is responsible for all school football in and across the county of Swansea.
Run by teachers and volunteers, a significant amount of time is put in to ensure that all children have an opportunity to play in well-structured and coordinated competitions and festivals.
Swansea Schools, in association with the Swansea Football Foundation, has organised a fund-raising dinner on September 21 with Wales coach Chris Coleman as the guest speaker. Coleman is a former Swansea Schools player.
