Scheme to boost rural Carmarthenshire praised.
A SCHEME aimed at giving a boost to rural areas of Carmarthenshire has been praised by the council's member for regeneration and leisure.
Councillor Meryl Gravell said the Rural Development Plan for Wales in the county had a beneficial impact on communities.
She said: "The bids have been very varied and innovative and will create much needed employment in the rural areas. I have had great pleasure in signing these off."
RDP Sir Gar has worked in the county since 2008, securing funding of more than £20 million to regenerate communities.
