Have Your Say: It's a life or death decision
IN relation to all the articles that have been printed in your paper over the past week in relation to the outrageous price increases for heating and electricity for our vulnerable population, especially our elderly and young.
I have been left bewildered by the headlines "heating or eating", where after the recent increase it should be "heating or dying", where our elderly must now decide whether to turn their heating up a notch or freeze to death.
Then they must decide if they can afford to pay for their nutritious food such as their five-a-day.
It is quite obvious if you have privatisation in things such as power then the super six can charge what they like irrespective which one of the super six we get our power supply from, because if the shareholders are not happy with their golden nugget at the end of each financial year, then the shareholders replace their chief executive immediately, hence the heat is placed on the customers.
