Have Your Say: Success must be shared out
REGARDING your story about Liberty Stadium stewards angry over pay (Post, Oct 18), thank you for reporting this story.
The reason these stewards have not had a pay rise in eight years and have very poor employment rights, is because of a sports labour market that benefits only a small number of highly-paid players at the top.
All the people whose jobs it is to make the success of teams like Swansea City FC and the Ospreys succeed, get a very small and disproportionate slice of the "success cake".
The greed of sports players is absolutely astounding.
This story just shows how a rising tide doesn't float all boats, but all yachts.
