Have Your Say: Stance will not change
THE reason I object to the 20 "hangers on" at the Welsh Assembly has been highlighted by Tom Giffard in his reply to my letter of October 21. It is clear to all, that non-elected members do not do much work.
The elected members do what is expected of them, yet notices appear in local papers informing us that "Joe Blogs" is holding a surgery in an elected members constituency. The elected members deal with constituents problems.
In the Evening Post, Peter Black said he agreed with Sir John Major regarding energy prices, Byron Davies mentioned road safety, it only proves my point that they have nothing better to do than make silly statements. Mr Giffard I do not wish play "ping pong" so let's make this the end.
You will never convince me, or many thousand of voters, that we need 20 unelected members.
