Have Your Say: Hailing our caring cabbies
FOR the past three years my wife has been a wheelchair user. As a result we have to make use of taxis to get around and we have been pleasantly surprised by how helpful these guys are.
We make regular trips from Tesco to home and the drivers are always helpful and pleasant and, if my wife is not there, often ask if she's okay.
Another regular trip we make is to the High Street station and again the drivers are most helpful and polite. So, well done guys!
Can I also mention the staff on the railway stations who could not be more helpful when we travel by train.
As we often make a number of transfers during our journeys, we are always met with a helpful member of staff with a ramp so we never have to worry.
We don't care what they wear as they are always pleasant and helpful.
