Have Your Say: Exaggerating array impact
LIZ Eales, (Have Your Say, Sept 19) is quite right to wax lyrical about the sunsets over Rhossilli and Worms Head.
The Atlantic Array Wind Farm is more than 12 miles away and I fear she exaggerates the negative impact this will have on the natural phenomena she admires so much.
For a start a report prepared for Swansea Council last year revealed that thanks to our wonderful cloudy Welsh weather the turbines will only be visible on the horizon 120 days of the year!
Furthermore, the wonderful cloud formations needed to produce the best sunsets will further mask the turbines from view if they are visible at all.
