    “@townhilltom
er Long Island, crowded with wildlife
Remember skid row, got many free drinks in the bars by barkeeps to get rid of us as frightened for our safety & the police escorted us out for our own safety. Ah a misspent youth”

“Sadly peter17776 it would not be possible to bring back the Mumbles Railway, but a monorail on the same route is an option. Let's face it the Railway moved with times (no pun intended). It started horse-drawn, and got to electric via several generations of steam, so a move to overhead would only be the next step.”

“Another thing both cities have in common is that their success has been built on wave after wave of immigration, and this will go on for the rest of time.”
