SA1 postcode in Swansea named area with worst average credit history among residents

The Swansea postcode SA1 has been named as the area with the poorest average credit history among its residents.

A study found that men named Daniel and women called Lisa have the worst average credit history, while Brian and Helen have the best credit profiles on average in the UK.

Comparison website Confused.com analysed information from customers who used its credit card matcher tool between January and August.

The comparison site found that the Slough postcode of SL4 had the best average credit history among its residents, followed by Guildford, Manchester, Southend-on-Sea and Portsmouth.

“So if you’re called Brian you won’t automatically be gifted with a great profile, or penalised because your name is Lisa.”
