Ryan Jones hails Welsh character after win over France
RYAN Jones paid tribute to the character of the Welsh players after last year's Grand Slam champions halted a demoralising run of eight matches without a win.
The 16-6 triumph over France at the Stade de France was Wales's biggest margin of victory over Les Bleus in Paris in 38 years.
And Jones, who delivered an outstanding all-round display as captain, believes the result can now act as a trigger to bigger and better things for Rob Howley's squad.
"Before the game we talked about being a team, we win as a team and we lose as a team," said the Ospreys talisman, who was leading his country for a record 30th time.

"It is testament to this team how they reacted after last week. But they came out here and fronted up. We talked about being bold and brave and you have to be that against a team like France.
"It's special, on the back of where we've come from these last few months."

“Wales's just turned another corner because we lost your way a bit, now though Wales realized the fact that you believe in yourselves, just as much as your loyal fans have always done. Take a load from this game and by the way, there was more than just one "Man of the match" in my eye's.
Well done lads proud of you in as much as you should be proud of yourselves,”
