Runner Ffion's raising key cash
A RUNNER who has raised thousands of pounds to help motor neurone disease (MND) sufferers is off again.
Ffion Thomas, 33, from St Thomas, started fundraising for charity in 2005 following father Meurwyn's death from ganglioatic nerve depletion (GND), similar to MND.

Since then she has raised around £8,000 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association by taking part in events such as half marathons and endurance challenges.
And later this month she's taking on one of her toughest tasks yet — running 100km across Andalucia in southern Spain over four days.
Free tea or coffee with every 3 course lunch purchased within
our Award-winning Dragon Brasserie, located at street level in the heart of Swansea.
An ideal place to watch the world go by!

Miss Thomas, who works for the Environment Agency, said: "I'm excited but nervous — it's quite a long way to run.
"I set a target of £2,000, but I've already raised £2,500 through sponsor- ship, donations from businesses, fancy dress parties and quiz nights."
