Rugby great Scott Quinnell to appear in comedy Stella
RUGBY legend Scott Quinnell is set for a new starring role - in cult television comedy Stella.
The former Wales and British Lion number 8, is believed to have filmed a role in the hit Sky comedy, written drama written by and starring Gavin and Stacey star Ruth Jones.

The show also features Swansea actor Craig Gallivan, who plays Luke, the son of Ruth's character Stella.
Craig tweeted: "It was brilliant to work with Scott Quinnell on Stella. A true gent".

His appearance follows a brief cameo by Wales and Lions coach Warren Gatland. The second series, set in the fictional valleys village of Pontyberry, began last week and is also due to feature appearances by Ashley Banjo and Russell Grant.
