Role model Duncan Jones pens new Ospreys contract
THE Ospreys have acclaimed Duncan Jones as a role model for young players to copy after the prop penned a contract extension with the region.
One of the Ospreys originals who have been with the region since their inception a decade ago, the evergreen loose-head has signed on until the end of the 2014-15 campaign.

He stands third in the region's all-time appearance on 182, just six behind Andrew Bishop, who heads the chart, and the Ospreys are delighted to have kept Jones on board.
"Duncan has been outstanding for the Ospreys since day one," said rugby operations manager Andy Lloyd. "He has a huge desire to represent the Ospreys and he still considers it an honour to do so, even after 10 years, which is an example to any young players coming through the ranks.

A former Ospreys and Wales captain, Jones has been on the scene for four league titles and an EDF Energy cup final success, his experience and quality in the front-row proving vital to all those triumphs.
He is valued as much as ever as he is around throughout international periods, and he has featured in all but one of the region's Pro12 and Heineken Cup fixtures this term.
"I'm delighted to have sorted out the next couple of years," said Jones. "This is my home region and I've always enjoyed playing here.
"I haven't signed for two years just to make up the numbers, though. I realise that Ryan Bevington is playing very well but I intend fighting him all the way for the shirt."
Jones becomes the third player to recommit to the Ospreys in recent weeks, following Joe Bearman and Rhys Webb, while Tito Tebaldi is joining from Zebre.
Meanwhile, the Ospreys say they will decide on a case by case basis who of their Wales heroes will feature against the Dragons at the Liberty on Friday night.
